The Positioning Play Schema involves lining up toys, putting things into order, turning cups upside down or obsessing over items being in an exact place.

Many parents worry that this stage of development is abnormal, though in an atypical child ‘positioning’ is healthy.

We can provide resources that invite objects to be ordered, categorised or tidied such as having groups of similar objects of different colours and sizes available, and using nesting / stacking cups.
