A magical company, Himalayan Journey Felt, was started many moons ago by Lobsang and Miranda. When it started, they had a baby, but now they have three children, whom they call Osel, Tsomo, and Jampa.
In Tibet, Lobsang fled as a young monk to Australia as a Tibetan refugee. He had lived in India and Nepal before making his way to Australia, where he was soon to meet me, Miranda! Our first trips to Nepal were for our importing business, and this is where we discovered felt. We fell in love with it, and so did our customers, so much so that we opened our own felt factory in Nepal, which is still running today. All Himalayan Journey Felt is fair trade.
