The caxixi (Ka-shee-shee) is a percussion instrument which generates a range of interesting sounds. It is made up of a woven basket and solid base. It is filled with seeds and has a strong handle on the top for ease of playing. The caxixi gives children an opportunity to further their understanding of rhythm, dynamics and musical expression. Sounds can be varied by either shaking the contents against the side of the instrument or against the base of the caxixi for a different tone.

Recommended for ages 3+.

This product is 21cm in height and 7.5cm in width. Please keep product dry at all times to avoid mould forming.
