Founded in 2007 by Daniel Gibney, a dad and drummer, the brand was born out of a simple need: to shield his daughter Emily’s ears during band practices.
Spotting a gap in the market, Dan patented the world’s first folding earmuffs for kids and named the brand “Ems for Kids” after his daughter Emily. In 2009, the range expanded to include baby earmuffs, with an innovative pressure-reducing headband designed for newborns. By 2017, Ems for Kids introduced AUDIO headphones, combining safety with entertainment for young listeners.
Today, Ems for Kids products are trusted by families worldwide. The brand is known for its thoughtful designs, rigorous safety standards, and dedication to creating tools that let children explore the world safely and comfortably, one sound at a time.
